Single door Fridge/Direct Cool Fridge: Compressor stops wroking due to following reasons:
Thermostat is faulty:Thermostat is used to control the cooling temperature of fridge (when temperature is high than desired set temperature, thermostat gives power supply to start the compressor.Now when temperature is achieved or temperature is as low as desired set temperature thermostat cuts off the power supply to the compressor & as soon as temperature rises above the desired set temperature, thermostat again starts the compressor). When internal electrical contact gets brunt out, or the sensor stops working it does not give power supply to start the compressor.
Overload relay is faulty: Overload protection relay is used to protect the compressor against voltage fluctuation & overloading of compressor. Incase if there is high volatge fluctation & customer does not switch off the fridge, overload protection relay might get brunt out & it does not give supply to compressor.
Compressor starting/running relay is faulty:Compressor start/run relay is used to give start to the compressor (Fridge compressor electric motor is a permanent capacitor start/run type motor. In this type of motor it is required to create a 90 degree phase shift of electric current between running winding & starting winding to run the motor & compressor start/run relay gives 90degree phase shift). If compressor start/run relay is faulty, compressoor stops working & of it is not replaced on time, compressor overload relay might also get brunt out.
Compressor motor winding is brunt out: When compressor motor gets winding brunt out, motor stops working & compressor stops working.
Compressor is stuck: Above mentioned all parts are electrical parts of compressor. Now as we come to the mechancial parts of compressor, compressor includes piston running in cylinder head, compressor sucks the low pressure liquid gas through suction/intake valve & compress the gas, & deliver high pressure gas through delivery valve. Now if piston gets stuck in the cylinder head, compressor stops working.
Internal fridge wiring is brunt out. Wiring works as nerves to control and supply electric current to the compressor. If wiring gets brunt out, fridge gets malfunctioning & compressor stops working.
Double Door Fridge/Frost Free Fridge: In frost free fridge/double door fridge there is only one basic difference as the name itself explains that double door fridge gets defrost itself through control circuit. This control circuit includes: defrost timer, defrost heater, Bi-metal sensor or PCB. In double door fridge, compressor stops wroking due to following reasons:
Defrost timer is faulty: Defrost timer is used to automatically def.rost the fridge

First of all, if there is huge amount of ice deposited in the freezer, please defrost the freezer through thermostat or just switch off the refrigerator till the ice is fully melt. Now if there is hole in the freezer, first of all switch off the refrigerator at once and call us, our techicians:
Check the compressor for its proper functioning and ensures if there is any water in the suction line of Compressor
If there is water in compressor, compressor has to be replced
And if there is no water in the compressor, freezer is replaced along with filter, capillary tube and suction pipe
Then leakage testing is done to ensure there is no leakage in the system
Then Technician vaccuumm the system fully
Refrigerant/Gas is Charged to the proper level
If there is water leakage in the refrigerator, drain has to cleaned of the freezer compartment and if there is any faulty part/setting due to which the drain was choked, faulty parts can be: defrost timer, defrost heater, Bi-metal sensor or PCB etc.

We give free estimates on call only, if visiting the customer premises is required to give an estimate, our Trained techincians visits the said premises, gives an estimate and If customer gives a positive consent to the technician, he gets the work done and charge the money according to the estimate given and if customer just wanted to get the estimate, our technician charges only visit charges or checking charges.
